SPC 325 - Communication Law3.00 credit hours A study of First Amendment law in the United States, with an emphasis on freedom of speech for print and broadcast media. Case studies are used to show how broadcast stations and newspapers assert their First Amendment rights while adhering to Federal Communication Commission regulations and other legal restrictions.
Prerequisite(s): One of SPC 273 , ENG 220 or IMS 200 .
