CMC 434 - Sample Preparation: Forensics and Trace Evidence

1.50 credit hours
Proper sample handling of forensic evidence is critical to the analysis. Specialized techniques are demonstrated for isolating and mounting small particles and microtraces from examples of trace evidence. Students use an Olympus SZX10 stereomicroscope and specialized microtools. Includes practicum.

Prerequisite(s): Admission into the CMC program.
