CSC 420 - Operating Systems I

3.00 credit hours
(Same as: CSC 520.) An examination of approaches to computer system resource management. Topics include scheduling, memory management, file systems, I/O management, multiprocessing, security and protection. Programming may be required.

Prerequisite(s): CSC 161 ; CSC 220 ; Junior standing or instructor consent.
