An introduction to the influence of public policy, as implemented through the legal system and governmental regulatory bodies, on the formation and operation of businesses in a competitive environment. Topics include issues such as environmental, safety, labor and antitrust legislation; affirmative action; product liability; interstate commerce regulation; and consumerism.
