MTH 107 - Elementary Mathematics II3.00 credit hours Essentials of mathematics for the prospective elementary teacher to include cognitive reasoning, sets, logic and structure of arithmetic through the real numbers including numeration systems, percents, proportions and number theory. Emphasis on problem solving techniques.
Prerequisite(s): MTH 106 or placement; high school geometry; Elementary Education major.
