MUS 322 - Woodwind Techniques I

1.00 credit hours
An applied course focused on developing proficiency on the clarinet, saxophone and flute families in order to prepare future music educators to gain aptitude in instrument pedagogy for use in beginning, junior high and high school band/orchestra. The course delves into the various pedagogical concerns that accompany proficiency on single reeds and flutes. The course also develops a procedure-based classroom management strategy for beginning band classes.
