KIN 345 - Training Techniques

3.00 credit hours
In-depth study of safe and effective training techniques including resistance training using free weights, weight machines, resistive bands, body weight and other major fitness equipment. Plyometrics, speed and agility drills and core stability exercises will be studied. Proper execution of exercise along with spotting techniques and appropriate cuing will be emphasized. Students will be expected to demonstrate mastery of techniques.

Prerequisite(s): KIN 222  and KIN 247 . Physical activity is required in this course. Please consult your physician prior to participating. If you have a concern regarding the activity, please contact the instructor.
