MATH 310 - History of Mathematics

4.00 credit hours
An examination of the historical origins of important mathematical concepts leading up to the calculus. Emphasis on the methodologies and motivations of those involved in the creative process. Students will complete several projects to illustrate key concepts from the course.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 152 .
