EDUC 324 - Elementary Methods: Mathematics4.00 credit hours A foundational course on the guiding principles and learning theories of teaching mathematics at the elementary and middle school levels. Emphasis is on the application of research-based instructional strategies that facilitate students’ conceptual understanding, procedural fluency and mathematical reasoning skills in the mathematics classroom.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 108 . Concurrent enrollment in EDUC 320 , EDUC 326 and EDUC 391 .
