HIST 116 - Lincoln and the Civil War Era4.00 credit hours An opportunity to explore the life of Abraham Lincoln within the broader context of American society before, during, and after the Civil War. Students will explore the writings of Lincoln and his contemporaries, as well as the work of scholars in evaluating Lincoln and his era.
