HPST 360 - Literary Traditions From Latin America4.00 credit hours An inquiry into how Latin American authors explore cultural, historical and personal identities through fiction. Special focus given to the expression of racial and ethnic identities and the question of national identity and myth, including issues of emigration and the role of imagined communities. This course cannot be counted toward a major or minor in Spanish. Taught in English.
