ENGL 236 - Latina/O/X Literature4.00 credit hours (Same as HPST 236 ) Reading U.S. writers whose experiences shape their works, students explore Latina/o/x texts, considering the effects of colonization and migrations on gender, racialization, sexualities, religion, and social class. Discussions focus on how language and historia provide imagination to foster inclusion and to amplify long-silenced voices.
