NEUR 300 - Advanced Behavioral Neuroscience4.00 credit hours Students investigate the neuronal underpinnings of behavior in organisms ranging from invertebrates to humans. Material focuses on the relationship between nervous system function and the resulting behavioral output in neurological and developmental disorders. These disorders are analyzed through various lenses incorporating primary literature with classical and cutting edge neuroscience models and techniques. This course requires an intensive, vertebrate-based laboratory. This course applies one credit to the Career Experiential requirement.
Prerequisite(s): NEUR 200 ; Concurrent enrollment in NEUR 301 . Cardinal Directions Designation(s): Writing Intensive, Career Experiential.
