ELI 206 - Reading and Vocabulary for Academic Purposes VI

Development of reading and vocabulary skills, with a focus on intensive and extensive reading skills. Emphasis is placed on analyzing and synthesizing texts, academic word list vocabulary, making text-to-self and text-to-world connections and monitoring and adjusting reading strategies to meet the demands of coursework. Designed for non-native English speakers.

Prerequisite(s): ELI 205 OR Placement.
