KIN 231 - School Health and Methods of Physical Activity

3.00 credit hours
Introduces teacher candidates intending to work with children and adolescents to the school-wide and classroom teaching philosophies and methods of health education and physical activity. Skills based instructional strategies such as goal setting, team-building, communication, conflict resolution, stress management and decision-making are emphasized to contribute to the understanding of the developmental dynamic between health and movement.
