PHY 100 - Principles of Physics3.50 credit hours As an introduction to the concepts of physics, this course is intended for nonscience majors. Utilizing a conceptual approach, selected topics in mechanics, sound, electricity and light that relate to our daily experience are explored. Does not count towards a physics major. May not be taken after successful completion of any higher level physics course. Laboratory required.
Prerequisite(s): High school algebra or MTH 095 . Core: Science (Lab).
