B.A. Requirements:
The Global Studies major requires 42-51 credit hours, including a common set of courses (minimum of 21 credit hours) which provide the basis for each of the specialized tracks:
One introductory elective chosen from:
One research methods course chosen from:
One global structure course chosen from:
One advanced elective chosen from:
Europe Track (21-30 hours)
One religion, culture, philosophy or political science course from:
Foreign Language Requirement:
College level proficiency in French, German, or Spanish through 103. Students may place out of this requirement by testing into FRN 201 , GER 201 or SPN 201 .
Study Abroad Requirement:
Twelve credit hours earned through study abroad. Students may participate in North Central College’s England program or some other approved study abroad program in Europe.
