Students who have shown academic strength may apply to enter the integrated Undergraduate/Master of Leadership Studies program. Students accepted into this program earn a bachelor’s degree (in any discipline) and the Master of Leadership Studies degree with the completion of 147 credit hours. Normally the bachelor’s degree is earned after four years and the master’s degree is completed by the end of the fifth year.
|
Admission Criteria
Students with a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.333 and minimum major G.P.A. of 3.333 may apply any time during their junior year through the first term of their senior year.
Program Requirements
The program enables full-time students to complete 12 hours of graduate work. Six of these hours may count toward both the undergraduate and graduate degrees. The other six hours are beyond the 120 hours required for the bachelor’s degree. These hours may be used to meet major or minor requirements (with department or program approval) or as electives. After receiving their bachelor’s degree, students take an additional 21 hours of graduate work in their fifth year to complete the requirements for the Master of Leadership Studies degree.
