This minor is open to all students who are interested in teaching English to speakers of other languages, in U.S. private settings or abroad. No teaching background required.

Minor Requirements
A minimum of 18 credit hours to include:
Clinical and Field Experience Requirement
Students are expected to observe and assist in TESOL classes, as well as do practice teaching thoughout this minor. Details on the amount of hours and practice teaching placement will be given in each course’s syllabus.
