Adding the Reading Teacher endorsement allows candidates to teach Reading in Pre-kindergarten through Grade 12. Students who want to apply for the Reading Teacher endorsement must take the Illinois Licensure Testing System Test #177 Reading Teacher or Test #176 Reading Specialist test.
