Shimer Great Books Minor

In the Shimer Great Books Minor students will choose from an array of courses that feature historically transformative works in the humanities, natural sciences and social sciences. In small seminars they will explore timeless questions in each area: Why do we tell stories? How is the world put together? What is justice? Through collaborative discussions and critical essays, students will deepen their appreciation of the value of an education in any area.
