Upper-level coursework taken during the 12-month clinical internship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital includes 34 credit hours in courses such as Diagnostic Nuclear Imaging, Radionulcide Chemistry and Radiopharmacy, Computed Tomography and Cross Sectional Anatomy, Radiation Physics and Instrumentation, Radiation Biology, Medical Terminology, Radiation Safety and Protection, Management and Methods of Patient Care, Radiation Detection and Instrumentation, Clinical Nuclear Imaging Procedures and Clinical Correlation - Pathology.
