B.A. Requirements:
A major in French consists of at least 30 credit hours, at the level of FRN 201 or above, including three credit hours at the 400-level.
Additional Courses:
Students seeking a major in the modern languages are strongly encouraged to take additional language coursework beyond the minimum major requirements. Note: Once FRN 310 has been successfully completed, courses below the level of 310 in French may not be taken for credit except with consent of the Chair of the Department of Modern and Classical Languages.
A typical student majoring French with a Secondary Education Supplemental major will need over 120 total credit hours to graduate.
