Sustaining Our World


How can humans and nature coexist harmoniously, so that the needs of the present do not supersede those of the future? Sustaining our World explores the human relationship with the natural world through the eyes of natural science, social science, humanities, business, and the arts. Students examine topics related to environmental sustainability such as climate change, agriculture, supply chains, as well as environmental justice, economics, ethics, management, writing, and history. Understanding the interdependence between humans and the environment, students will become more deliberate, ethical, and thoughtful global citizens.
