ARTD 350 - Ceramics II: Advanced Projects4.00 credit hours Exploration of advanced conceptual and technical approaches to working with the ceramic medium. The course consists of technical workshops, lectures and discussion of existing works. Studio projects are combined with related critical theory as well as historical and emerging developments in the field. Intermediate practical study of clay-body preparation, glaze formulation and testing and kiln firing.
Prerequisite(s): ARTD 150 ; ARTD 250 or ARTD 251 .
