PSYC 340 - Learning4.00 credit hours The scientific study of how animals and humans learn from a historical perspective. Course work emphasizes theory, evidence, methodology, and application of the research to education, clinical settings, parenting, and training animals. Classical and operant conditioning are the main focus with observational learning, memory research, and biological factors included. Laboratory required.
Prerequisite(s): One 200-level Psychology course, excluding PSYC 293 .
