NURS 522 - Nurse Executive Leader Capstone Project: Planning 2.00 credit hours
This capstone planning course is builds on the concepts and knowledge gained from previous graduate nursing courses allowing for the application of theories and concepts associated with nursing leadership, nursing research and management of care. A clinical practicum (NURS*523) which follows this course, enhances this entire process. Students will propose or complete a quality improvement project for their workplace which integrates standard of professional nursing performance, ethical, legal, IRB approval and regulatory compliance in the healthcare practice setting. A practicum mentor will be approved.
