MBUS 612 - Project Management 3.00 credit hours This course explores the art and science of project management and how it can be applied to a variety of business and technology settings. In the process we discuss how to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close a project(s), while delivering the same projects on-time, under budget and within quality standards. The triple and enhanced trip constraints are also covered in the course. Advanced topics may include the critical chain, predictive—vs—agile project management, the project management office (PMO), program management and portfolio management. A project scheduling tool, MS Project 2016, is used to complete a “course project” while demonstrating the power and importance of MS Project. Finally, this course is appropriate for technology and non-technology managers alike.
