NURS 521 - Health Policy for Healthcare Leaders 3.00 credit hours
Designed for advanced level healthcare professionals, this course focuses on policy and advocacy at institutional, local, state, national and international levels. This course examines the intersection of law, ethics and health policy and the role of healthcare leaders in the policy making process. The ways healthcare leaders adapt to and challenge public policies through the policy making process will be explored. Participants will communicate with policy-makers, analyze factors and apply evidence to influence health policy decisions.
