Physical Therapy, D.P.T.

The mission of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program is to support learners on their journey to becoming excellent clinicians, scholars, educators and leaders serving society as movement system experts. The program is committed to the success of every learner, fostering a positive learning environment to guide learners in reaching their personal goals. The highly integrated curriculum connects the foundational movement sciences with the examination of the movement system to enhance students appreciation and understanding of the fundamentals of our profession. Fundamentals of a liberal arts education are integrated to develop critical thinking, problem solving, strong communication skills, self-reflection and a greater appreciation for the lived experiences of every individual they encounter.
